He remained loyal to Odin, even when the Æsir were at war with the jötnar, Loki's own kind. He also valued loyalty and was strictly loyal to Odin, his best friend and blood-brother, at all times. However, he eventually grew dissatisfied with his wife and began an affair with the Dikastes of Atlantis, the Greco-Roman Isu Aletheia, from which they had three children: Fenrir, Jörmungandr, and Hel. This prompted Odin to recruit Loki into his faction and serve as his own trusted confidant and advisor next to Týr.Īfter some time, Loki was married to Sigyn. At some point in his adult life, he became blood brothers with Odin, leader of the Æsir faction of the Isu. Loki was born as a member of the Greco-Roman faction of the Isu. Known by many other epithets in Norse mythology, Loki also went by the name Þökk when disguising himself as a jötunn.
